An efficient oxygen evolution reaction( OER ) catalyst, CoSn( OH ) 6( CSO ) is required for the creation of next-generation lithium air batteries. But, the latest techniques for synthesizing CSO are laborious and time-consuming. Recently, a multidisciplinary research team created CSO nanoparticles with exemplary OER catalytic properties in just 20 minutes using alternative plasma. Their discoveries might increase the production of high energy density chargers.
