Between Sep 5 and Sep 12, 2023, 13 global experts nominated by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA; Vienna, Austria), the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC; Lyon, France) and WHO, conducted an imPACT review, an assessment of a country’s cancer control capacity and needs, in Papua New Guinea, an island nation with an estimated population of eight million, mostly rural, situated in the southwestern Pacific Ocean.
