In 32 resource-constrained hospitals in Latin America, the implementation of PEWS was linked to lower clinical deterioration event mortality in paediatric cancer patients. These findings support the use of PEWS as a successful evidence-based intervention to lessen the disparities in cancer children’s global survival.
