[News] India is boosting vaccination efforts to eradicate cervical cancer

A new initiative, led by the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and the Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI), seeks to eliminate cervical cancer in India. As part of the initiative, a massive training programme is underway, which aims to train more than 50 000 physicians across India to help fight cervical cancer through education and implementation of human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination.
